Favorite USCSA Memory: If only there weren't so many. A definite highlight for me was always hanging out at the top of the course cheering for everyone --- not just my team, but anyone from the whole division. This became such a division pastime, that when we got to Regionals, you could tell when anyone from the Thompson Division started or finished because the noise on the hill was positively deafening. A personal best for me was at my last regular season race (our dress-up race) I had a great first run and came in second. Many questioned my judgement when I chose to dress up for the second run (although dress down is perhaps more accurate) because they felt that I would be throwing away a great first run. As it turned out, I not only looked ridiculous coming down the mountain, but I ended up winning my first ever GS at my last race in a league that meant so much to me. Karma, I tell you.
